About me
Research And Academia
I am a Ph.D. student in Exceptional Student Education at the University of Central Florida, focusing on Post-Secondary Transition, Policy, and Advocacy. My research explores early vocational preparation and skill development for students with high support needs.
Curriculum and instruction
As a special education teacher and ESE Support Facilitator, I have developed over 200 IEPs and guided students in academic, social-emotional, and transition goals. I am passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and mentoring both students and educators.
Beyond the classroom
Outside of research and teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, visiting Disney, event planning, hand embroidery, and Taylor Swift’s music. These pursuits keep me balanced, spark creativity, and inspire my advocacy and professional work.
